Karina’s Mom, Dana
Dana’s daughter, Karina is a cancer and bone marrow transplant survivor.
She believes a child's nutrition is vital when they are well and even more so when they are recovering from a life threatening illness.
By using the füdoo Board, Karina has a tangible way of seeing where the holes are in her diet. She has the board at eye level and likes looking for the correct color pieces to fill in her circle. Karina finds it a challenge to fill the board completely.
She sometimes looks at the board before she goes to find something to eat and then feels proud when she has eaten something healthy.
This has encouraged Karina to eat a more balanced diet.
